Atlantis Motivational Program
Motivational awards are designed to recognize swimmers for achieving important performance milestones and demonstrating continued growth in the sport. This program celebrates effort, improvement, and dedication throughout the season, giving swimmers clear goals to work toward as they develop. To be eligible to receive these awards, swimmers must be registered members of Atlantis Swimming and in good standing.
Coach Johnny’s Evaluation Scoresheet
- Bronze Trident when they legally swim all 50-200 Free, 50/100 of each stroke + 100 IM
- Silver Trident when they legally swim all 50-500 Free, 50/100 of each stroke + 100/200 IM
- Gold Trident when they have legally swum ALL SCY events (1000 free/1650 free, not both)
Motivational Achievements
- Record Breaker: Earned when a swimmer has broken a club record in either an individual event or relay event.
- Breakthrough: Earned when a swimmer has dropped 15% or more in any event from last season to the end of this season.
- AAA Club: Earned when a swimmer has achieved an AAA time
- AAAA Club: Earned when a swimmer has an AAAA time
- Special Events: Earned for those swimmers who attend higher-level meet including but not limited to: Junior Nationals, Nationals, Olympic Trials, Para Nationals, Para Olympic trials, Deaflympics, International Meets, Olympics
Other Awards
- Coach Kristi Award: This award is presented to a swimmer who has been part of the Atlantis program for at least five years and consistently demonstrates exceptional character and sportsmanship. The recipient is dependable, loyal, and devoted to the club, and serves as a positive role model for younger swimmers.
- Coaches Award: 1 Boy & 1 Girl per practice group, at the coach's discretion
